Wills & Trusts & Probate & The Elderly

Trevanions is well known locally for providing high standards and a particulary caring approach towards the elderly and recently bereaved.

After discussing individual needs we will prepare WILLS at competitive prices. We are always actively looking to minimise your potential Inheritance Tax liability and will offer full advice in this area. Advice is also available on the benefits of LIVING WILLS.

When applying for PROBATE following the death of a loved one we endeavour to keep the procedure as simple and stress free as possible. We understand the need to complete matters as quickly and efficiently as possible.

We have a competent TRUST ADMINISTRATION team available to discuss the advantages of trusts and their effectiveness for protecting assets for future generations. We also manage many existing trusts and deal with the set-up procedure for new trusts on a regular basis.

Many people find the TAX system increasingly difficult. We are pleased to offer practical advice and help with completion of tax returns for individuals and trusts. We also advise generally about Income Tax, Capital Gains and Inheritance Tax.

We have considerable experience in ADVISING THE ELDERLY. We deal sensitively with Enduring Powers of Attorney, Receivership applications, and advising, drafting and acting as attorney for those elderly clients with no immediate family. We are also happy to advise on long term care, preserving assets and Local Authority funding.

We pride ourselves on producing all our letters and documents in Plain English. These can be produced in large print or discussed with the client at home if poor health prevents a visit to the office.

We have free parking and wheelchair access to the office.
